Azmeer Needs You Again. Time Is Running Out.
Fourteen year old Muhammad Azmeer is once again fighting for his life.
Earlier this year, his family and close supporters came together through a private campaign to fund his first cycle of Blincyto immunotherapy. That treatment gave hope. Now he urgently needs a second, critical follow up cycle to keep him in remission.
Diagnosed with severe blood cancer at just nine years old, Azmeer has already endured chemotherapy, a stem cell transplant and multiple relapses. Over R4 million in medical aid funds has been exhausted this year alone. Despite upgrading to the highest plan with Motohealth, this life saving medication is not covered.
The first cycle cost R700 000 and was raised by family and friends.
We now urgently need to raise R920 000 within three weeks to secure his second cycle. His doctors believe this treatment could stabilise his condition and finally bring an end to this devastating pattern of relapse.
A treatment exists.
His medical team is ready.
But without funding, it cannot proceed.
Azmeer has lost years of school and precious milestones, yet he remains determined and hopeful. He loves karate and staying active, and he still dreams of becoming a haematologist one day so he can help other children facing the same disease he is battling now.
Our Goal: R920 000 in 3 Weeks
