t was an amazing morning at Charlotte Maxeke on the 11th of February.
First stop was at MUGG & BEAN SA to collect cupcakes for our special warriors and hospital staff. The Pink Lemonade Cupcakes were a hit with everyone,

Then it was time for the official handover of the 2 new fridges to the Oncology Ward/CHOC.
“Mamma Brenda” was so grateful for the donation, she says that she has been waiting for 14 years for new fridges! Brenda and her team also had a special activity morning with the little warriors and we had so much fun helping make Valentine Cards with the little warriors.
Then it was time to hand out the cupcakes, those smiles were so heart warming. It is really amazing how a cupcake can light up even the saddest little face… We met so many new patients today, with permission of the parents, we are only sharing a few of those cupcake moments…
I would like to THANK every single Cupcake Angel that has supported us so far, by either baking cupcakes or by hosting your own Party of HOPE, it is due to all your hard work that we can make a difference in so many children’s lives…. 🙂
