Gerhard is 15 years old and recently lost his leg due to Cancer! He has no medical aid and his doctor referred him to us as he needed a prosthesis. We were there in 2012 when he received his leg.

What an amazing little boy!!!

We visited the staff and patients at Wide Horizon Care Hospice in the Vaal in 2014. To celebrate International Childhood Cancer Day, on the 15th of February, we brought them some cupcake and donated R5 000 to the Hospice. Hospice focuses on palliative care of a seriously or terminally ill patient’s pain and symptoms, and attends to their emotional and spiritual needs.

I salute you all and thank you all for taking care of these patients.

Thank you to Corrie and Abie Hickman, Fransie Pretorius from Fransie’s Tuisgebak for these stunning Cupcakes!

We went to Charlotte Maxeke Hospital to officially handover the two new fridges to the Oncology Ward in 2014.

“Mamma Brenda” was so grateful for the donation. She says she has been waiting for 14 years for new fridges!

They also had a special activity morning with the little warriors and we had so much fun helping make Valentine’s Cards with them.

Thank you to Mr Price SPORT for hosting a Party of HOPE in 2014.

The money raised was used for a Ward MakeOver at the Tygeberg Hospital Oncology Ward.

The Cupcake Angels from Cape Town had loads of fun getting everything ready; 20 new cushions, sheets and comforters, all bought at Mr Price HOME! The bathrooms were also jazzed up with new bath mats and wall stickers! The hospital also requested breakfast trays, for when they eat or do activities. The MakeOver took place on the 15th of February, in celebrating International Childhood Cancer Awareness Day.

Thank you to Elri, Riaan and ALL the Cape Town Cupcake ANGELS for brightening the Oncology ward in Tygerberg Hospital.

A special thank you to Claire Bevan and her TEAM at Mr PRICE SPORT for supporting our Cause!

The Sunflower Fund Walk with a Purpose was held at the Emerald Resort & Casino in February 2014.

Thank you for all our supporters for donating Cupcakes and for joining us!!!

A donation of R10 000 was handed over to The Sunflower Fund. It was an awesome morning spend with our Cupcake Angels as well as our 4 legged friends. Our little mascot, Coco Fluffy CUPCAKE, attended her 1st official event – she loved every minute of it!

Thank you to Rouna for setting everything up the tables. Cupcakes were donated by Baby Bakes (Heidi Mannsberger Mouratidise) and Marietjie Nurden!

Unitas Fridge heading

In September 2015 we were able to bless Unitas Paediatric Oncology Unit with a small fridge which they will use for an isolation room. This will make the lives of patients and their mommies (or daddies) so much easier when in isolation.
